Whether arresting Maduro in Venezuela with US military assistance on a 2020 NY federal court grand jury indictment is legal, or not, the legal consequences under international law are unlikely to be any different than the legal consequences after Grenada or Panama. In other words, no legal consequences whatsoever.
Whether it’s legal, or not, under international law for the US to “run” Venezuela until after new leaders are elected in free and fair elections is another question, but with the same results.
If international law cannot stop Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Iran, Russia, or China from committing frequent violations and killing a lot of people with evil intent, it sure as hell cannot stop the US from committing violations with good intention of restoring freed and democracy.

No. Those are courts without legitimacy. US isn’t a member and has no reason to comply. Those courts are only supposed to be used by member states when action by a state has not been taken as it should have. They have no right to pontificate on cases just because they see themselves as above national law. They aren’t.

But our Congress didn’t approve it & why in the heck does it always has to be us giving these places “freedom”? The rest of the world must s*ck pretty bad?
