Upgrade Question

I have some sea time written in GT (ITC) from an old OSV I worked on . See picture for the specifications. Was wondering will the Coast Guard take this ITC tonnage and use it for over 100 GRT ? As this is how my sea time is wrote . 1158 GT ….. Just wondering anyone opinion on this .

Is the GRT listed in the letter too?

NO but the GRT is 99

This is what’s on the seatime letter

Years ago i was in a similar situation. I was told when a vessel has dual tonnage they will go with the smaller. The question is will they take the letter at face value or dig into it looking up the vessel thru whatever database they use.

I had a friend who had documented time on a boat with dual tonnage overseas and because of the overseas time on that boat they acknowleged the ITC/GT.

I was reading this policy letter and the highlighted parts explaining it . Just wondering how the coast guard would actually see this .

I guess either way it’s worth a shot ….
