That assistant engineer pay is LOW.
I’ve noticed a trend with New York companies regarding unlicensed engineers, this being the third contract I’ve seen now: Having that chief license doesn’t give you much more a day than an unlicensed chief it seems. A job I turned down a few years ago only had a 12 dollar difference.
