Update Typhoon Maysak (TY) at 18Z 30 March was centered near 9.4N/143.7E or about 331 NM east of Yap and was moving WNW at 12 knots with max winds of about 125 knots . Super Typhoon Maysak at 00Z 01 April was near 11.5N/135.5E or about 76 NM N-NE of Yap and was moving WNW at 11 knots with max winds of about 140 knots and conditions favor some additional strengthening during the next 12 hours before a gradual weakening trend sets in. UPDATE Super Typhoon Maysak at 15Z 01 April was centered near 11.9N 135.1E or about 194NM NW of Yap and was moving WNW at 10kts with max winds near 130 knots creating significant wave heights to 44 feet (about 13.5 meters).
