China is looking at the SMOAT like any civilized person sees a blackmailer. If they give one percent it is a total win for the blackmailer and he will be back again. The smoat will claim victory and his cult will support him even further as they turn their homes and savings over to the oligarchs. The smoat is nothing more than a blackmailing grifter who doesn’t give a shit how many people literally die by his filthy hands.
May they smite the smoat!

Trump to mark Army’s birthday, and his, with parade of 6,600 soldiers.
The parade to honour veterans and the armed forces happens to fall on the same day as the president’s 79th birthday.

President Donald Trump’s long-held hopes of soldiers marching and armored vehicles rolling down the streets of the nation’s capital are moving closer to reality, as the White House confirmed Friday that he intends to host a military parade this summer to commemorate the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday.
The parade is scheduled for June 14, the 250th birthday of the U.S. Army and, coincidentally, Trump’s 79th birthday.
The Army anticipates featuring 150 vehicles, 50 aircraft and 6,600 soldiers, Army spokesperson Heather Hagan said in a statement to The Washington Post.

Apparently the Orange Moron posted this AI image of himself. Pretty ignorant and offensive even for a narcissist like him.

He probably got the reaction he wanted:
I understand that perfectly well.
I also understand that perfectly well. But, when the constitution says, “The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America”, the SCOTUS cannot change those words to elicit a different meaning. They try, oh they try, and lawyers can argue both sides of every issue and occasionally SCOTUS makes stupid decisions (eg Roe v Wade) inventing meaning that isn’t in the words of the constitution and was never intended to be, thankfully reversed after many decades. Judges never like reversing decisions as that admits they or their forebears were legally wrong.
We, in Australia, have the same problem of judges inserting themselves as unelected legislators and creating new meanings that cannot be found in the constitution and, in fact, contravene the constitution. UK has similar issues with Trotskyist Tony Blair having stupidly invented such a court.
The proper answer should be that constitutional issues are settled in the congress/parliament by the people via their representatives.
I think you’ll find Trump complies with SCOTUS but has issues with lower courts usurping his constitution powers maliciously.
No I didn’t. I said congress should (not ‘must’) get off its arse and pass laws. At the moment Trump is doing the heavy lifting and he needs support from a congress nominally Republican to do Republican things.
I have no issue with congress doing their own thing. Perhaps they could align with what the people want. That would be a change.
