Australia, as described by our famous poet, Dorothea McKellar, in her poem “My Country”.
I love a sunburnt country,
A land of sweeping plains,
Of ragged mountain ranges,
Of droughts and flooding rains.
Sadly, our climate gurus never seem to understand that last line, understood by every schoolchild.
But their dud predictions live on … and on.
