My dislike is visceral, is genetic, is historical, hence one may assume is justified and has logical roots and I think is rational with a certain degree of respect and fear.
"Fear not " call quoted by vice POTUS J.D. Vance lately stems I think from his misinterpretation of the Pope words as these were meant not to fear the communism and served as an encouragement to fight against it.
In the books i am going through I try to find the answer and proof, Americans have inherited it from the Brits w/o asking valid questions

Personally I would preferred it if the UK government had just abandoned it.
There are lots of other things we we could be spending the money on.

Mauritius is scrapping income tax for 81% of its population and paying off it’s national debt with the money the UK is giving it for taking over the BIOT
