Hello yall. I am curious about SUP vs SIU. I’ve heard that SUP is a better union, representing their workers more strongly and guaranteeing better benefits.
Is it hard to find work with the SUP? What is the pay difference between SUP and SIU? Has anyone here experienced both? I was thinking about Piney Point, but if SUP is significantly better, I may just pay to the take the classes here on the West Coast to become an OS and not spend the years in the apprenticeship program.
