It should really say something that they have to use training ships to get them all their days because there would be no possible way to get them all out on real ships.

Except for the simple fact that they have always used training ships…Mass and NY for over 100yrs for example.

SUNY Maritime started as only a Training Ship… the campus came later and shoreside instruction came later
