I see a video on “Reels” from time to time that are really funny. A man in Florida tries to explain “Everything Florida” from gators to cold-stunned iguanas. But he says in Florida a tropical storm is just rain with a name. But the best source for storm levels is the Waffle House. Unless Waffle House is closing, yeah, you have to go to work. And he videos all his “evidence” with his flip phone. “What’ going on around here? Flip phone, ACTIVATE”. Or “I’m glad I got it on my flip phone”.
It’s called The Waffle House Index. It’s used unofficially to judge the severity of hurricanes and tornadoes.
