I’m hoping to get some insight into Stabbert Maritime. How do they treat their people? How well do they maintain their boats? I’ve been around long enough to know that every company feeds their employees a shit sandwich every now and again, but does Stabbert at least try to season it well, or do they just pile it on and not give you anything to wash it down with? Details appreciated.
Do a hitch with them and find out.
Lower pay than other companies and heard some things that pretty much boiled down to …. “Yeah go do a hitch and you’ll understand”
After reading I asked someone who I knew that worked for them several years ago. He said, “They paid me on time. Didn’t expect them to be some outfit like Foss. Did a couple of hitches and moved on. No harm no foul from me or them.”
Thanks to everyone who replied.
I had no complaints, always seemed fair and reasonable.
I worked deck with them for three years on the Ocean Titan, great company. Quality of life is excellent, chow is superb. Pay is dependent on skill, experience and credential. No complaints.
