A slow moving gale low off the US East coast is causing strong to gale force winds (25-40 knots) and seas (9-18 ft) within 300 nm to the west and 240 nm to the northeast of the center. As the low drifts southeastward these rough conditions will expand to 240nm to the southeast, 420nm to the southwest and 540 nm to the northwest and 300 nm to the northeast during the next 24 hours.
