I hear that US shipyards are hiring a lot of people, and having trouble finding them.
I recently heard a radio ad saying that a major shipyard was hiring new entrants to the industry with $17 an hour training pay, and a $1000 sign on bonus.
Most employers in these days of legalized marijuana in many states have trouble finding enough employees who can pass a drug test.

Well then establish a threshold for THC. A positive test for someone who smoked a joint 30 days ago should not be the same as one who smoked a joint yesterday. I’d rather be in a shipyard with a guy that smoked a joint 2 weeks ago than a guy who was falling down drunk 2 days ago.
