Jdcavo. I did challenge before my submission of test answers. And the challenge was unsuccessful. But CFR 46 1.03-40 states if a mariner is Unsatisfied with the result of their challenge they have the right to a appeal the decision to the commanding officer, NMC. When making a formal appeal of a challenge decision, such appeal must be submitted in writing and received within 30 days of the challenge decision.
