It’s Christmas. Don’t pick nits. 
Unbelievable that I made this post 3 years ago—and now I’ve been living in the USA for over a year! 
I wanted to share a quick update and also ask for a bit of guidance. Since moving, I’ve started working as a Vessel Agent/Coordinator in the NY/NJ area. While I’m grateful for the opportunity, I’ve realized that this role isn’t something I see myself doing in the long run. The schedule is extremely demanding, and I feel that my education, skills, and offshore experience could be better applied elsewhere.
That’s why I’ve decided to explore opportunities onshore—something that allows me to stay closer to my family while still making use of my maritime background.
If anyone has ideas on which direction to look, or knows someone who might be interested in someone with a Chief Officer (Unlimited) license, DP Unlimited, and extensive offshore/renewables experience—I’d truly appreciate any tips or suggestions!
