I can read Jemplayer. What’s your point? I know that he wrote the article, but I do not know him personally.

Entertaining read, but not a new concept. Building teams is the most difficult job. Then maintaining it is almost impossible. It makes the difference between mediocrity and greatness. I am not sure who wrote this article, but I know that good things are in your future. [/QUOTE]
Thanks for the kind words. Yep, an old (and proven) concept. When I joined the Army a quarter century ago I was part of something called the cohort program - kept folks together from basic through first unit assignment. My wife, an organizational development consultant, preaches this kind of stuff all the time.

Sorry I missread what you posted and thought you took the blog to be someone elses with him just posting a link.
I do know Txh20man and I was just trying to give him so props. Ive always enjoy reading his stuff and grabbing a beer when I can with him.
Now on the subject the worst thing to boat cohesion in my opinion is the crew managers themselves. How many times do you get a great crew going and somebody gets moved just for the hell of it and then the office plays hell trying to get the boat running smoothly again?
