One has to wonder how much the Whistle Blower got for turning the ship in as this is how most of these events come to light.
It really amazes me how many ships (and Companies) still try to get away with doing shit like this now a days. If not for the “Rat Factor” most of these events would never be heard of and most likely continue.
Way back in the Dark Ages, I am sure that most people sailing have pumped things overboard that should not have been pumped.
How many people on here would (at risk of their jobs) report something like this to the USCG?
