Petrobras Sets Oil Exports Record

<strong>…It might be time to start learning Portuguese…again! I would say that within the next decade, Brasil is going to boom, together with Alaska…if we ever get our act together up there!</strong><br><br><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica; font-size: 10pt;]<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold;]Petrobras Sets Oil Exports Record</span>

set the record exports mark of 532,000 barrels per day (bpd) of
domestic oils, totaling 15,965,000 barrels in April 2008. This record
surpassed the previous mark, 484,000 bpd, set in November 2006.<br><br>This total volume of 532,000 bpd includes some 223,000 bpd from
Marlim, 170,000 bpd from Albacora Leste, 73,000 bpd from Roncador
(heavy oil), 34,000 bpd from Roncador, and 33,000 bpd from Marlim
(P-37). The destinations were the American Gulf, the Western Coast of
the US, the Caribbean, South America, Europe, and China.<br><br>Shipments were made from the Exploration and Production area’s
oceanic terminals and from the Angra dos Reis (RJ) and Sao Sebastiao
(SP) terminals. It must be emphasized that in addition to the
volumetric challenge, the complexity involved in logistics was even
greater due to the need to combine different types of oil in the same
shipment seeking to add value for the Company.<br><br>This mark is the outcome of joint and integrated work done at
Petrobras. It resulted in $1.72 billion in revenues for the Company and
made a significant contribution to the Brazilian trade balance. It must
also be highlighted this value refers to physical output of oils from
Brazil in the month of April and that the loads will be invoiced in May
and June.<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica; font-size: 10pt;]<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold;]</span><br><br>
