Hi. Im a naval architecture student and I have to describe the construction of a round/curve block-section of a ship with the following dimensions: L 240m, B 42m, D 20m, T 14.5m, 16 knots. I used Poseidon Germanischer Lloyd to find dimensions for structural elements etc and autocad to draw my midship. I chose to describe a volume block-section so I started describing a Hopper tank. My question is… does my OIL TANKER have one? I know that bulk ship carriers have hopper tank but I found on the internet some oil tanks with hopper also…
