Flying Bridge on a British tanker is the walkway from fore to aft above the main deck. Usually fairly narrow and goes from the raised forecastle to the poop deck. Used for passage fore to aft during rough weather. Same language different meaning.

That walkway on an American tanker is called a catwalk. Maybe you already know that.
