Well, it isn’t. These pictures are from the SW coast of South Island, New Zealand.
From a FB post by Sigmund Furhovde Håland:

So does it matter if you visit Fjordland or Fiordland?:

NZ got as much ski-able snow as Europe’s alps, can take plenty of photos in NZ mountains covered in snow and any EU person will say its Europe.

What has ski-able snow got to do with Fiords or Fjords??

Fiordland is mostly untouched by humans. Pickersgill harbour named after Richard Pickersgill, a naval officer with Captain Cook surveyed the harbour in Dusky Sound in 1773 and his plan of the harbour was still in use in 1971 when I anchored there. The stumps of trees felled by Cook’s crew were still there covered in moss. Everywhere you look water cascades down the cliffs.Rock lobsters are gathered for the Chinese market and flown out by helicopter. The park is uninhabited except for Milford Sound with a tourist hotel and accommodation for staff and a boat harbour for cruises in the sound. The road to Milford Sound goes through a one way tunnel of unlined granite called the Homer Tunnel and no, it’s not named after Homer Simpson.

New Zealand has an amazing amount of natural scenery as you just pointed out that most people in the world dont know exists
