Hey y’all. So I recently accepted a position as a GVA on a west coast NOAA ship. From what I been told is that I’m permanent crew. Does that mean I have the ability to homestead on the ship or do I need to look for a place to stay while I’m out there. Thanks in advance
Which ship? If you’re permanent you shouldn’t need a home off the ship, though I’d recommend having the ability to stay somewhere when you can on days off, during leave etc, even if it’s just a friend’s house, just for sanity’s sake.
