I’ve read about Captain Cook here and there of course but this is the first book I’ve read just about Cook. This one is about Cook and his third and final voyage.
I really enjoyed this book, there was a lot I didn’t know about Cook’s voyages, for one my assumptions about the time frame was way off. Didn’t know the European discovery of Hawaii had been so late (1778).
Early in the book there was a couple references to imperialism etc and I thought the book was going to turn into a lecture but that was not the case.
