The public records on the boat’s CG inspection results show historical deficiencies with electrical–nothing major, typical items an inspector may call out, twice replaced heat detector in the galley, all marked resolved, but issues in boats just continue, and new wiring and new services added for passenger comfort, or improved aesthetics like fancy lighting, are commonplace and just as prone to be causes as the mysterious visitor. Or, at the very least, it’s a non-zero risk.

Or what were the chargers plugged into and what type of electrical system did the vessel have?
