And they don’t even have the decency to call them USNS in the story. The Concord was " sunk" long before this. When operational in 7th fleet a few years ago the then “master” was a consummate drunkard and never wanted to depart Subic. Hence all the other msc ships of the same or near class had to take his obligations. A real high achiever. Shame as the CONCORD had been a really nice ship when she was transferred to PAC, she deserved better than a master that was a drunk and didn’t care.
