I have heard nothing but horror stories about the Medical Care provider course at Fletcher.
Most people claiming they would rather be keelhauled then sit through that again. Has anybody taken the course somewhere that didn’t make you feel like you wanted to off yourself before it was over.
I took it at Young Memorial, and had no real complaints with the instruction…
It is basically a 24 hr CPR and first aid course, so of course there is not a lot of meat to work with…
Young Memorial is ok. It’s a bore hole, like the other posted said, a week long CPR class.
If you want a good class you gotta pay. Try MPT, they have a great class - if you go through the MCP-PIC course you get to spend a couple of evenings in an ER doing actual work.
