McDermott is modernizing

McDermott has changed their style and stepped into the modern world:
They have come a long way since they pioneered offshore construction in the GoM. The days when they took one of the anchor winches off the DLB and moved it ashore to do a beach pull is over.

Since you are the only person starting and commenting on this thread I’m mystified as to why you would want to bump it up again.

No replies but >1K views, so somebody may find it interesting.

After all, McDermott was once a leading American Offshore Construction Company, operating worldwide. Many here may have worked for, or had dealings with, McDermott in their heydays, like I have.

McDermott has fallen on hard times and are trying to come back to former glory by renewing it’s fleet. away from the old DLBarges to modern vessels that can compete in deep water.
I think it is interesting to see if they succeed in their venture.
