He’s being by replaced by 2 Maritime Partners board members as Co CEOs.
Probably not seeing the results they would like to see.
I’m surprised he lasted as long as he did.
Centerline focused on short term cashflow to the old owners on Wall Street
Hopefully, Maritime Partners will focus on long term results by building a top quality oil transport company.
I heard about new raises, but did not hear how much.
What is the 2026 pay scale?
Did they fix the travel nonsense?
Good riddance!!
The maritime industry is better off without him.
He should go back to the IT department where he belongs.
Where are you hearing this from? Still on website, although Doug Houghton is also listed and I had heard he is more or less retired. Interesting development if so
I have family at Centerline. Company wide email sent out last night. John Binion and Jonathan Whitworth are the new CO CEOs
Friend of mine told me they’ve been told raises are coming..but then again there’s always perpetual rumors of raises at ECO for example and nothing rarely happens.
Their travel is still a joke. Guess the way around that is always work extra. Travel is 100% covered if working extra.
Feed the lion? More like eat a dick.
Let Leo speak..guys definitely been through it. Take the red flag down.
I see they finally cut the head off the snake.
Weekly bump!!!
Glad to see him go. Now it’s time to start replacing some of the rest of the horrible management team. Get some one in there that actually has experience and knows what they are doing. Stop running it like an oil barge company would be a good place to start. Revamp the Engineering side of things would be a good move as well. Get rid of the floating death traps! Start adhering to regulations and stop using the “we didn’t know” excuse would move things in a positive direction too.
It’s going to be extremely difficult to start over with the egg on that stupid lions face. I think an entire rebrand would have to take place to attract mariners. Especially since the job market is still pretty warm. It’s going to be hard for them to really convince any of us that “This is the new Shitline, I mean Centerline.”
Truly the sad part of all of this mayhem is that the men and women in their fleet ultimately pay the price for Mr. Godden and his obsequious management team. I am hoping that Maritime Partners will see what has truly transpired and make things better for the company as a whole.
Does anyone know anything about the other boat companies that Maritime Partners owns? Are they good, well managed companies?
Has Maritime Partners successfully turned around other poorly managed boat companies that it has bought? How did they do it? How long did it take?
.
Anyone got the inside info on why he was let go?
Cause he sucks
