Maritime Art Prints

My name is Michael Hepburn and I’m a professional artist from Scotland. My work covers a number of genres; including portraits, landscapes, maritime, still life and wildlife. Maritime paintings are my favourite subject matter and therefore the majority of my works are maritime scenes.

My work has been exhibited at The Royal Scottish Academy, The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine arts, The Pastel Society in London and numerous other galleries throughout the UK.

I’ve had some of my work made into Giclée Prints; including various maritime scenes. A few examples are: The QE2, tall ships, The Waverely, tugs, yachts and coastal scenes.

My prints are available both framed and unframed in various sizes. The most common sizes are 12"x10", 14"x11" and 24"x16" (A2). The 12"x10" and 14"x11" prints come with a certificate of authenticity that I’ve signed. The unframed prints are mounted with a secure backing, which means they are ready to be placed into a frame. The framed prints have hooks and chord attached, which means they are ready to be hung on your wall.

I sign the 24"x16" prints directly. The unframed prints are unmounted. The framed prints have hooks and chord attached, and are ready to be hung on your wall.

Great looking work Michael! The “Royal Cruise” print even looks like it could be of my hometown, Morro Bay.

Thanks John. I plan to have ‘Royal Cruise’ photographed in the near future so I can release it in print form.

I did a Google search of Morro Bay and I see the similarities. Morro Rock is very similar to Dumbarton Rock.

Since the last time I posted there have been a few changes to my site.

Two new sections have been added to the site. A news section and an online shop. The news section lists upcoming events that I’m taking part in and upcoming exhibitions that are showing my work. It also keeps visitors informed about any new works that have been added to the site.

The online shop allows visitors to purchase my Giclée Prints and Fine Art Cards via a shopping cart system.

Since I last posted some new works have been added to the site, including the following maritime scenes:

East India Harbour and Glasgow Harbour.
