I’ve started an ongoing study into monitoring of shipping and government’s efforts to regulate shipping traffic at the blog http://5956n.typepad.com.
I’m looking for examples of companies that are doing interesting things with tracking data, either on the user or provider side. Do you work with this, or have experience or knowledge of examples?
I’m not looking for critique of ship monitoring, per se. That discussion is taking place elsewhere. Nor am I seeking information related to what governments are doing here - only information from private enterprise.
