Can anybody help with local info regarding detention on the 22nd Jan 2025 of Liberian Flag vessel as per below screenshot.
The reason I am asking is that in local PL news outlets there is a lot of BS about victimisation of the crew who has been detained and denied shore leave and crew change has been cancelled by USCG.
My comments are deleted and banned while explaining , that although PSC detention due to SOLAS defficiencies is not a valid reason to deny a shore leave but then MARPOL violations and presentation of falsified, fake or full of arithmetical errors ORB records is a Federal crime as well as dumping oily residues at sea in contravention of Marpol procedures. In this case detention of the crew for the purpose of investigation and discovery is absolutely essential to avoid witness tampering and manipulations.
Because Equasis page is today undergoing some maintenance and as per pic below USCG listing does not contain details of that particular ship , the USCG version of the story remains unknown and could shed some light.
