When was the last incident to report over 17,000 vessels of an average of 40,000 DWT that transit the Suez Canal every year under the conduct of Master Mariners and Pilots? Since that same period of time, how many US flag tugs have crashed into bridges, collided with cargos, run aground, spilling oil all over the place, under the conduct of highly professional 1600 tons tug drivers? The answer is that tuggies that compose the very vast majority of this august forum, with the exception of a more than welcome psychotic c.Mickey Mouse that got up in severe mental disorders that cause abnormal thinking and perceptions, have no lesson whatsoever to give to anybody else. So stop babbling against what you ignore, but try to stick to the facts, if you have any knowledge of what facts could be.

UL master issue #8 held since 1993 earned by serving on merchant ships…been master of merchant ships, drillships, offshore, tugs, research and fish factory vessels since 1989 and have to my credit ZERO, ZIP, NADA, NONE, GOOSE EGG serious marine incidents when serving as master. No collisions, groundings, fires, allisions, serious injuries or deaths on any ship I have every been in command of!
UL master issue #8 held since 1993 earned by serving on merchant ships…been master of merchant ships, then demoted to drillships, downgraded to offshore, relegate to tugs, moved down to research, reduced in rank to fish factory as a fish bait, then promoted on …
well pardon me all to FUCK for having the courage to start my own business! Isn’t entrepreneurship a vaunted hallmark of American achievement? Or is it better to be a bloody self important shipdocker paid as much as heart surgeon because of outdated protectionist laws with allow virtual monopolies to exist in each port and creating defacto little mafias? HMMMM? Why do pilots believe they are so superior? What on earth qualifies that belief? Have you gone to medical school, then served a residency then received yet more years of training before you were qualified or did you just know the right people? know the secret handshake? go to the right school? give great blowjobs? or just happened to be the fucking punk kid with the high score on the test? When pilots are selected because they actually have tremendous experience and superior skills then I will respect you and your type…as the system is now, you people are just damned lucky is all, but nothing more! You are in no way superior to anyone else here!
what kind of BULLSHIT is this except to try to excuse your bloated overly grandiose profession?
A foreign captain react whereas a local pilot anticipate.
now you have done a fine job alienating all the limited tonnage ship officers here and the UL ones as well with your own back patting…so EAT ME very much SIR and begone with you!
And don’t you forget… C. Captain is an Unlimited Unlimited master and he is better than you and did I mention his Unlimited Masters License. Pilots, Tug Captains, OSV captains, and the guy cooking at Ruby Tuesday they are all idiots to his superior Unlimited Masters License he got in 1951. Don’t dare challenge anything he decrees or he will poke you with a stick. Ok you may all take a 5 min break from bowing now.
I said that because usually, a normal seaman which doesn’t seem to be c.Mickey Mouse case of a series of demotions, walks its way up the other way around … row boat, fishing boat bait, research vessel, tugs, offshore, drillship, merchant ship. That being corrected, I just want to add that you’re the ultimate envious to denigrate and defame on pilots but probably the first sycophant that would bootlick on his knees to have a pilot job. But unfortunately, pilot’s organization does not recruit big ill-mannered yelling oral cavity like yours.

had more than enough chances to go pilot but decided that even with all the obscene money, I did not want it…every mariner is not destined to be one but even your own statement shows how you all believe yourselves to somehow be “the chosen few” that God himself has anointed. The epitome of arrogance just like you and yours reputation!
now you can say all that you want to try to denigrate my entrepreneurship but that is what I wanted and I suspect many other mariners would like the same given the option. I make no apology for the size of the boats I own and am proud to be able to have them or I wouldn’t tell all here every time I acquire another. They ain’t big but they earn me a living and I enjoy being my own man however small and insignificant your bloated self image would make me out to be. From small beginnings big enterprises are founded. Crowley with his rowboat in San Francisco, old man Chouest and his shimp trawler, and so many more
and so I ask you again to EAT ME very much!
addendum to a FUCKING COWARD…I see now that you deleted your first post to this thread! vis…

You can’t even stand by your words or apologize making them but rather you try to erase them and pretend they never were uttered out of your ASS…you MISERABLE CHICKENSHIT HUMAN PARAQUAT!
well you were wrong SIR! your hurtful and disrespectful words live on no matter how you try to make them disappear and to think that no one would notice you deleted your post shows a delusional side to you which is very common for those who live and work in isolated and protected worlds! The FOOL King has no clothes on!
Here is a video that’s gonna give c.Psycho a hard on. You don’t need to have the eyes connected to the brain, just eyesight is sufficient. Only for your info, Port 10° means Left 10° and Stb’d 10° means Right 10°. You will even observe tugs that respond instantly to the pilot orders, not the other way around. As a supreme envious sycophant , that video will give you new opportunities to denigrate and defame on pilots.
you still have not apologized for denigrating limited tonnage officers and until you do you are a SHIT filled ARROGANT pilot!
I present to the jury exhibit A: do you recall making this remark SIR?..answer the question yes or no please

did you on or before the morning of 10/1/14 delete said remark?..answer the question yes or no please
since the answer must be yes, please tell the jury exactly WHY you deleted said remark?
we’re waiting SIR!
ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I do not even believe we need to hear the answers of this pompous arrogant SOB in order to find him guilty as charged with being a typical ship pilot!
You're a Mickey Mouse idiot, obviously you didn't read the NTSB report about that Houston collision! Suck ok this stink nugget: most of the pilots I know (in the US in general) were "Mickey mouse tuggies" before becoming pilots. They're ALL doing it wrong. If anyone on here agrees on unlimited tonnage like yourself it's probably c.mickeymouse! Hell I have a pilots license but only Mickey Mouse tug an barge experience! Call the IMO!
I agree with your statements about tuggies going pilot. In New york its pretty rare to find a docking pilot that wasnt a mate or captain on a tug for years. Its common knowledge that people who come from ships usually suck pretty bad at least in close quarters situations. All you have to do is look at the sandy hook pilots vs. The docking pilots. Hook pilots start to get sweaty palms if the docking pilot hasn’t boarded by the time they get on the conhook range. Say what you want but unfortunately you still see pilots getting there sons jobs. Not to discount the hard working guys that do work there way up and into a pilot job because those people also exist.
Residual self-image is the concept that individuals tend to think of themselves as projecting a certain physical appearance or a certain position of social entitlement or lack thereof.
It just shows how pilots are all just like we think they are…
In the interest of full disclosure, I also hold a Mickey Mouse First Class Pilot ticket for the Delaware Bay & River (from sea to Trenton) and Chesapeake Bay From the C&D Canal to Sandy Point including the Patapsco River (Baltimore).
I get some Federal piloting jobs in addition to my full time job running a Mickey Mouse 5,000 horsepower ocean going tugboat mated up with a Mickey Mouse 140,000 barrel clean oil barge.
Not all of us are as high and mighty as some THINK they are.

what kind of meaningless nonsensical blather is this?..AND YOU STILL HAVEN’T ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS!
The jury is getting impatient!
my God how I just love the smell of battle and to take TOOLS like you apart…SIR!

Yes, and in previous discussions you’ve shown your ignorance on effectively using a tugboat. Point taken!

That’s not bad! We only do 18,500BHP Aframax carrying 775,000 barrels in one go, which is 5½ times a Mickey Mouse barge nevertheless, hoping that this barge won’t be the next to run over the bulbous bow of the Aframax bow and spill her load.
