Is the Panama Canal drying up?

Global warming raises the sea level so I don’t think it will be a problem…

The canal has locks at each end.

Apart from that the Canal is all fresh water so rising sea water doesn’t help one bit, on the contrary.

If the surface area has increased, so have the evaporation rates. I also think that miles upstream from those rivers, having diverted the water so radically, that the underground water tables that help supply the area with water have been altered. Population density means water to supply the cities goes out in the sewer to sea.
