Could this be the last offshore lease sale until at least 2025? If Biden wins will he only be able implement his ban on the sale of new leases after his inauguration in January 2021?
IMO, if he gives the keys to Harris then possible Yes. But if he keeps control then many things like offshore drilling, raising taxes, warwaging, trade & foreign policy will be similar as it was under Obama, the Bush’s & Clinton. The guy has been a politician longer than 66% of Americans have been alive, things will be a lot more predictable for his subjects & our adversaries. The economy will need all the help it can get & oil plays a big part in it. Business in the GoM might even improve if we blow up some real estate somewhere else?
