Invitation to participate in a research questionnaire for the project: ‘Transitioning to Sustainable Marine Fuels: A Transformation for the development of the Port of Rotterdam’

I hope this message finds all of you well. My name is Sam LI, and I am a former seafarer who served as a deck officer on container ships, and I am now a student at MLA College in partnership with the University of Plymouth. I am conducting academic research on the topic of ‘Transitioning to Sustainable Marine Fuels: A Transformation for the development of the Port of Rotterdam’.

This is a postgraduate research questionnaire from the MLA College in partnership with the University of Plymouth. The goal of this questionnaire is to investigate and identify the perceptions from maritime industry and public for the development of the Port of Rotterdam regarding the transitioning to Sustainable Marine Fuels.

Your participation in this survey is greatly appreciated. Your responses will contribute to the sustainable development of the Ports globally and global environmental protection. This questionnaire consists of 25 questions and should take about 10 to 15 minutes to complete.

In addition, you should understand the purpose of this questionnaire, and it should be regarded as a voluntary nature of participation, you also have the right to withdraw at any time. All your responses will remain confidential and are treated as anonymous. No third-party assessment could be involved in data handling.
