Yes, I agree, but I donāt think the helmsmen made a mistake in this case.
I was just pointing out that the meaning of āWheel is hard portā depends upon context.
Depending If itās after a hard port helm command or if itās part of a report from the helmsman that steerage has been lost.
In this case it was the latter.
