Those mariners who don’t sail in the north have no idea…THERE IS NO WEATHER LIKE ALASKA IN THE WINTER!

but then when the storms pass…there is no place more AWESOME!

Very true. Its crazy how unpredictable the weather is here. I thought I saw some crazy stuff in the north atlantic in winter; but this place is something else. 30-45kt winds are ops normal here.
