Ombugge is right. Winter is on its way down here. Maple leaves every where. The wood shed is looking healthy and I filled up the heating oil tank and 560 litres of diesel to run machinery. Flour is still sold out within 10 minutes of the supermarkets opening. The towns that catered to tourists such as Queenstown are basically screwed. It is going to be a ski season where nobody turns up.

Me and my mutt having fun in the back yard of freshly cut grass, (Using cheap gas) begging my absolutely cool neighbor to cut my hair, she does not have 6-8 foot arms, but I will tip well when she can get back in the business. My mutt needs a haircut too, but that will have to wait. She actually looks better with all those curls, but the squirrels can see her a mile away. Too keep sanity, she gets an occasional visit from her doggie cousins while her uncle sends containers across the country to help people that need it the most.
If there’s any clear lesson I’ve learned from all of this it’s that I probably need a dog. I’m sure I’ll learn other, better stuff but for now, that’s the only one!
Dogs are cool, no matter what breed. Better than blood pressure medicine,for me anyway. She likes watching movies with me. My sons dogs really like the bears clean hiney thing. Imagine that, three dogs and my bride watching tv with me. Life and retirement has been good to me , in spite of this virus bullshit.
Dude?! I come out of quarantine tomorrow & the first & only appointment I have is for a hair cut. My state has shut down all barber shops & hair salons so my wife will be the suitable stand-in. If she does a terrible job I’m pretty sure no one will care because I’ll still be stuck at home with the fam like every one else. This coronavirus crisis sucks but at the very least we can get free crappy haircuts out of it.
I feel your pain big guy. I gave up the long hair and pony tails once I figured out I got better seats on the airplane. Not flying any more for quite some time since retirement. Did pass a few rolls of toilet paper from my month long backorder from Amazon to my neighbor/haircut lady for a front line appointment when she can open back up. Who knew that would be good currency? And she likes my mutt.
Spring 
. 2nd night in a row I’ve come home in a white out snowstorm and supposedly 6-8" more tonight, been getting 1-2" every couple days. I’m down to 200 cord of dry wood left and just smashed 7 triaxle load of green wood last week for people stocking up.
Believe the internet bullshit for what it is, the GF is an RN and works for a large hospital, her sister works for the gov in DC. The reported #'s are FUCKED right now and lower than what it really is. When this is all said and done the story’s that come out about what they found in some of these low income housing projects in the city will come out, knock the door down and find 4-5 + inside dead.
Hopefully things turn around, we are one of the lucky ones to get the gov “loan” on your 2019 payroll, going to be alot of pissed off people who fucked around on their business taxes. I’m headed to Vermont to look at a newer slasher next week, going to put the biggest TRUMP / MAGA2020 sticker on it I can find
I hate cold weather. My wife was in the medical field and stays in touch with her pals. They are very busy.

He doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting elected in November given our current predicament . The only way for him to get around this is to postpone the election due to a national emergency. We’ll see what cold and flu season looks like in the Fall.
