I am attending mass in the spring of '14 and wanted to get some suggestions on picking a major. I already have chosen international maritime business. But only because I was unsure of what to pick. I just want to degree in something that will be useful after I am done living life at sea.
Do some research.
Engineering is a great way to go if you are into that kinda thing. It gives you great flexibility as to where you can work and what kind of work you can do. Any way you go, you will have options later in life.
Engineering. There will always be clueless idiots who need someone to make something work. If you get a liberal arts degree… well, coffee shops always need servers.
If you are an engineer, you will never starve.

That says it exactly right. Won’t go wrong if you enjoy the problem solving and are curious.
