I have to say that the closest calls I have ever had in port fourchon have either been with an odyssea boat or a southern states crew boat. One jack hole decided to do a mob drill in the bottleneck just south of flotation canal and come to an all stop to launch the FRC in the middle of the bayou to recover a lifering! I had to run the mud just to avoid them and caused on hell of a traffic jam. Just a few of the idiots we encounter out here!
Any idea if that was the rig he was working, or was it a stranger? I’m assuming he was just running weather patterns, since the damage shown didn’t seem like true ramming speed. Did the semi have to disconnect? Standing by in a conventional boat suck a big weenie. Up and down. Love me some z-drives.
