A friend in the Royal Navy (UK) once told me that in England they celebrate this date as Thanksgiving Day…

Yeah, got rid of that turkey.
Chili dogs, flags, burgers and all the sides/fixings… Fat Sunday and fuck the kneelers.
Don’t forget we also get an excuse to shot things into the air that blows up. If I did that any other day if the year except New Years Eve I might get the police called on me. We can stop pretending & be kids again. Our Independence Day celebration is awesome!
