Gabon Africa, bringing in tobacco

Hey fellas, does anyone know if you are allowed to fly with large amounts of cigarettes or chew into port gentil, or anywhere in Gabon? Just in carry on…

I think it’s just a question of having enough cash on hand that you’re willing to part with. Isn’t that how that whole part of the world works?

 Firearms and ammunitions (authorization from the territorial administration is required)
 Alcohol (only “Fond de Cave”) is acceptable and is duty free (20 bottles)
 Some items may qualify for free import if within the limits indicated:

Firearms are verboten. Alcohol and cigs were so ridiculously cheap when I was there, I never even considered bringing any more weight with me. Things maybe different now. This was back around 2001.
