FIFA World Cup 2026 is right around the corner.
Host countries this year are Canada, Mexico and USA.
First matches will be played in Mexico Thursday, 11. June, while majority of matches being played in USA, incl. the final in NYC 19. Thanks for making this thread Ombugge. I love the World Cup. Not that I care for soccer much, it’s just that Shakira always releases a new World Cup song every 4 years. It’s the best part of the World Cup imo.

It started with Blatter’s abuses. More recently I believe that since the Qatar choice, where the arbitrary date changes should have annulled their hosting, FIFA corruption and greed has shown that the people and organisation are unfit for purpose.
FIFA exists to serve footballing nations, football does not serve FIFA!
