I know some members object to the posting of this sort of thing, to those I say Poshol na khuy which is Russian for “sorry to have offended you”.

It’s their own transliteration of poshol na khuy. Their translator words it more vigorously than sorry to have offended.

There’s a New Zealand series called “The Brokenwood Mysteries” which has a brilliant Romanian-born actress named Christine Ionda playing a Russian-born medical examiner. Her rendition of the character’s transformation of Russian syntax to English is bloody hilarious, especially when she is trying to come on to the lead character. Streams on Acorn in the US, highly recommended.
