He played phone commando, just like Mac’s GM did.
It was the Leo that showed up at and caused the commotion. Mac did end up buying it and it’s now the Bridget up in Baltimore. They bought the Orion (the Matthew) and that weird looking one too and it’s up in Providence.
The 3rd one just sold to Tradewinds from Mac they hardly ever used it.
From what I heard the deal all depended on the Leo being sold with the boats as a package deal
Cashman (sterling)uses the Shit out of the Lynx in comparison.
The 4 tugs for the Cheniere plant are still “working” at the Sabine LNG terminal. These 4 are from the Golden Pass plant a little further up the river.
They aren’t using those for the LNG export in Chenarie?? Where they built for the LNG plant in Lake Charles??
JeauxBaws? Anyone!?!
There is nothing sinister or nefarious about helping a new governor have a really swank inauguration ball. Accounting found some previously earmarked cash that was freed up and we put it to good use. All I’m trying to do is guarantee the survival of the company and its employees. Why can’t you people see these things for what they are? It’s like you can’t even do nice things for people these days.
Being that its perfectly legal, I have no problem with it; but I have to wonder if it gets confusing when your in direct control of 120 different corporate entities? Guess it helps when they all operate out of the same place.
Capitalism at its finest!
They aren’t shitty enough for mcallister, and everyone else would rather build their own new equipment when it comes to tractors.
Of course I wouldn’t be surprised to see these in Valdez quite soon.
No. ECO just ordered it’s shipyards to start cutting steel for 8 newbuild tugs…along with several barges for the Valdez operations.
What yard will be building the tugs?
I heard it was supposed to be spread out to the yards.
Aka the various chouest shipyards

Of course ! Chouest paid $1,000,000 in “campaign contributions” to Jindall. Hands out $95000 to a new Missippi governor’s inauguration and gets $11,000,000 handout from the same governor courtesy of the LA taxpayers. Socialism for big business ! That’s a heck of a return on investment. With all that money he hands out to politicians you’d think he would be able to honor his commitment to match his employees 401k as he promised. I guess employees of Chouest are too low on the totem pole for Chouest to be concerned with. Too busy getting the taxpayers to subsidize him and his multi-billion dollar corporations to worry about the serfs that work there.
Some of the welfare the citizens the citizens of Mississippi will give billionaire Chouest
Topship:
– A 10-year exemption from state and corporate income taxes.
– A payment of no more than $25,000 a year for 10 years instead of state franchise taxes.
– A sales-tax exemption on equipment installed during the initial build-out.
– A 10-year exemption on real and personal property taxes.
– A rebate on 90 percent of employee income taxes withheld as long as employment goals are met.
Remember all taxes not paid by Topship will have to be paid from someone else. Plus Chouest gets a REBATE on income taxes paid to employees? Is he going to give that money back to the employees?
The USA is no longer a democracy but an oligarchy
ol·i·gar·chy (ŏl′ĭ-gär′kē, ō′lĭ-)
n. pl. ol·i·gar·chies
1.
a. Government by a few, especially by a small faction of persons or families.
b. Those making up such a government.
If these billionaires are such good business people why do they need welfare?
In the US of A socialism/welfare is reserved for the rich.
People are crying about their 401k while still employed, when others just want a job. These contributions are laying the groundwork for people to have jobs for many years to come. You won’t need 401k when you can just keep working until you decide to quit. I’m making all these moves to keep us all afloat, sorry you are to short sighted to see that. It’s not welfare it’s an investment in American jobs.

You’re a socialist welfare queen Jeaux.
I think he is just making the most of of the trickle down economics we have all voted for.
