Dead whale on Fourchon "beach"

The local news sites have confirmed it, but nothing has been determined about what killed it.

Maybe it was killed in the storm and just now washed ashore. Maybe someone from Sea Shepherd planted it there. Has there been any forensic evidence found on or near the carcass? Seems this is becoming a common occurrence we saw a dead whale offshore earlier this summer prior to any hurricanes. It’s hard to make out but there are some sharks feeding on it.

I don’t know about all that, if any of dem Lafourche boys from up da bayou got dey hands on it, keeaww! It would have been a filet and served wit some rice, yeah.

Nah! About 1000 pounds of Tovex should do the job quite nicely I’d say…
