Will we see cruise ships like this in the future?

MV Vikingfjord looks like vapor-boat at the moment - rather low quality artist concepts of the outside, though the inside renderings seem to have had more effort. It takes real chutzpah to call a boat with a 49 year-old hull ânewâ. I wonder how ânewâ the mechanicals are?
She has apparently had some engine trouble earlier:
During her many years as a Government owned vessel she would have been very well maintained, with regular docking and service periods.
Donât know if the latest conversion incl. change of Main Engine, but with the strict regulations applying, or anticipated for operation in Svalbard and in certain fjords in Norway it would stand to reason that she now has been equipped with low emission propulsion. (??)
Viking River Cruises are also operating on rivers in Europe, Asia (Mekong) and North America (Mississippi):
When will they show up on the Yangtze and Amazonas rivers?
