If you work for a company based in Louisiana you maybe interested in Delgado Community College’s hurricane relief training program, located in Covington, LA. After taking a simple test to make sure you can read and write at about the 8th grade level you are eligible to take their marine related courses. Here is the good part, the courses are free and they provide a room, free of charge, while you are attending the classes.
