Northeast Maritime’s president and CEO, Eric Dawicki has created an NFP Organization, COPE for the express purpose of advocating for an Open Registry in US Virgin Islands “under US governance”. This is nothing more than painting a Red, White and Blue label on a Flag of Convenience.
This would be a direct threat to US Mariner jobs, and a thinly veiled attempt to avoid US Safety, Security, Environmental and other safeguards in the interest of profit.
Northeast Maritime’s customer base is US Mariners, lets show them how we feel about a knife in the back. Spread the word, get on social media, tell your friends, post it on your ships bulletin board.
