Just curious - DPO friends working offshore during last week’s solar flare/northern lights episodes - anyone have any issues or real incidents with your GPS’s or anything else around 11NOV/12NOV?
Who checks the space weather before an important DP job?
Well places I’ve worked before - we used to. This one was pretty well communicated through alot of places (because of the possibility of everyone in the US being able to see the Northern Lights) but thought I’d put it out there.
Nah, but every night for the last week or so the Dgps 1 sats go to down to 5-6 around 10 pm.
